Default Computer illiterate asks: How to copy text?

Can someone tell me how to copy text from a post so that when I paste it into a reply it appears with a title in bold JOE BLOW WROTE: and the cut text in a little box?

When I try to copy text, it just pastes in as text. :?

Thanks,

So that'* what that stuff up at the top is for! Duh!

Thanks, kazuki, for contributing to my continuing education.

But, do you have to type in the "kazuki wrote:" part in bold? When I use the quote tag, I only get " quote:" in bold.
