So, who even remembers this car, much less these pics?

Y'all are also welcome to share pics from the forum from long ago as well.

I don't remember those pics, but do remember your Taurus, Ford Boy. LOL.

So do tell us about the cart corral.

I might as well add my photo... from this thread https://www.gmforum.com/general-gm-c...ctures-239304/

This was my home built engine puller using 4x4'* and a $30 boat winch to hoist the engine out.

Which Taurus? The gold GL or the white SHO? Truth be told, the GL was my mother'* and the SHO was my father'*. I have only personally had the Tempo and PA.

Ok Mike I got to know..how did your patented design hold up? ...
How long did engine hang like that for?
& How hard was it to re-install?
I would assume by now you have improved the design..LOL!!!

The tiki torch lighting was a nice option, no need to worry about extension cords getting in the way.

I used it about 1.5 years ago to do my L36/L67 swap.

The engine/trans in the photo was hanging overnight with no issues. The strap itself is rated for 1100lbs.

Reinstall was easier than pulling it. It just plops right in.

Improved? No, I did remove the bottom pieces of it, but now it sits out behind the shed unused because last year I splurged and got a real cherry picker for my S10 project.
