I got a call telling me to grab the camera and head out.
I saw what the call was about once I hit the first intersection near my house. There were lots of flashing yellow lights and this was the scene  Attachment 57609 Attachment 57610 Attachment 57611 There were 2 women in the car and one of them just happened to work for the local paper. The pics will be forwarded tomorrow ;) |
Was that a telephone pole?

Wow, that would be scary!!! I saw a bad wreck on the way home. They had to detour us but one thing I saw was a car that looked like it tried to drive up a phone pole. It wasn't pretty either.

Scott...your pics are uh.. well... tough to see

looks like a rear end into a truck carrying a street pole.

Wow, that's crazy. I would've had to change my underwear after that one.
There was a wreck over here once where a car ran off the road, flipped about 10 times, and bounced 30 feet up in the air and hit a telephone pole, like the top. 1 dude died immediately and the other lost a leg and barely lived. |
Wow location IS everything. Had that pole been a little lower and towards the drivers or passengers side....Ummm I dont think you would have been able to post pics

Dude in the truck is in trouble! In most states, any thing that protrudes more than 24" from the back of a commercial vecle is an oversize load, and can't be moved at night. Even if that's not the case in your state, he didn't have it marked adequately. He should have had a red light on that.

The first thing I thought was he should have had either a red or yellow light on it. |
