Army of One
Onward, they march, a great many strong,
An army of many, an Army of One.
Through good times and bad, they march ever on,
An army of many, yet an Army of One.
From the blood-soaked beaches of Normandy sand,
To the battles for Concord and Lexington land.
Ever do they fight, the Army of One.
Fighting each other on Cold Harbor dawn,
Still ever did they march, the Army of One.
From man against man, to brothers-in-arms,
So did they assault the hills of San Juan.
From the walls of Corregidor, they fought for Bataan,
Against the horde, they still fought ever on.
A new horde has emerged, a horde very strong,
Nonetheless we still beat them, we with our Army of One.
To the unknown future, America progresses,
The unknown future, with its unknown menaces.
Still can we confide in our Army of One,
That when their country calls, they will faithfully come.

Thanks for the spell check.
This reminds me but I can't find the link, a Marine has made the longest kill in Iraq, over 1050yrs! The spotter needed a GPS to tell exactly how far it was.
