Hey, i need computer guru help!!!
My normal laptop is in for some service so i'm making due with an old HP laptop. its running xp pro and its a 1 Ghz AMD Athlon with 500 Mb ram. So heres the problem...
When i scroll a window (internet, word, ANYTHING that scrolls) insted of a smooth motion i get a extreemly jerky scroll... it looks like a CRT monitor when the refresh rate is wrong... i can watch the screen "refresh" from the top and move to the bottom of my monitor when i am scrolling... it takes about a half second. it will continue to do that too as long as i'm scrolling!
Can anyone help me fix this? its driving me NUTS!!!
oh, i turned "smooth scrolling" off in the internet options and it didn't help. also, i'm all up to date on updates as well...

Update your Video card drivers
Thats what the problem is. when ever i do a fresh install of a OS and there is no Video card drivers installed it does that.
Also it can be the video card drivers got corrupted and that need to be reinstalled
