So far, I'd have to call mine "money pit".
I bought it 2 months ago. 2001 SSEi beautiful inside and out, but had 135,000 miles on it. I decided several times not to buy it because of the high mileage - but it looked great. Got it for $3,000. I just couldn't walk away. It ran good, but sunroof, and rear windows needed repair. It was garage kept, so the open windows and half-opened sunroof had not damaged the interior.
Two weeks after I bought it, it spun a bearing! I had my mechanic order a new GM crate motor and swap it out. After fixing the rear windows and replacing the motor and fine-tuning the sunroof, I though it was finished.
Last week, the transmission started acting up and now I've got codes letting me know it'* time to change the catalytic converter.
I guess I'll have to call it "Sweetie". It looks so hot that I can't resist it, yet it spends every penny I have for me!

Things should level out for you soon, Hal. With a new engine it might be an '01, but should treat you right for alot of miles Properly maintained, they run forever.

I thought I add my boat "EmmaLou" and my 30 year old JohnDeere lawntractor. Hoss has had better looking days and the mower deck rusted off long ago. But he starts right up and smokes his way to the top of the mountain hauling my wood trailer and back. My 3 year old Sear'* LT3500..... I call her Worthless POS. It'* repair list reads much larger than Hal'* for 3 seasons of grass cutting. Doesnt help it takes 4 hours to cut the yard, and I have a fondness for finding property stakes that have heaved out of the ground.

Your name does not count. The reasoning for this disqualification is that you have a VENOMVILLE...LMAO!! Love the car!

LOL, Thanks. I need a compliment here and there. I went apeshit on that car and to this day try to justify my spending. The wife has never gotten over it.

its ok tho... they just dont understand... its like asking them why they need matching stainless steel pots and pans, or matching luggage for that matter, or makeup... its not necessary but gives you that warm cuddly feeling inside... until you realise what you spent and then your like

That'* funny. If you went out and spent the same amount on a diamond ring for her on her hand only she would not "complain". I want to put a stereo in mine, but since we are in a "recession"-( BS this is a modern depression) and my wife and I both got laid-off money is tighter than Dan'* butt wrapped around his G-string! ---Love ya Dan--- By the way...thanks for all the help guys.
