I'm back!....sort of....
Ladies and gents of the club:
For those that remember me from at least 6 or 7 months ago, I'm back! But as a visitor I'm afraid...after some issues with my 96 SLE, I traded her in...on an 01 Monte Carlo. So far, that car hasn't given me any problems (it shouldn't...right now it only has 32k on it), what'* better is that there is no intake manifold to fail on it! (It'* the 3400). I've kept it up just as well if not better than the Bonnie, but I still miss that plush ride, the leather, and the sunroof. So once I get my apartment or home (whichever comes first), I am going to search for a 96-99 SSEi. By the way, I got a job that really applies what I graduated school with...I now work for CAE in an outfit in Orlando maintaining and upgrading flight simulators (hence the absence).
Later all!

Hehehe.....oh yeah, I guess I better work on the sig. Jr, good to hear from you too. Orlando aint nothing like Daytona, you have to know a whole 'nother language here to get anywhere, and the junkyards suck.
In fact, I got the Monte because of the low miles and I know if taken cared of, it will do the same for me. Only mods have been the sound system (only the subs and amp have been carried over from the Bonnie, new everything else), twin Flowmaster 40'*, and K&N panel filter. But next on the list are urethane dogbone bushings...mine have been certified shot by Mr. Goodwrench himself. Gonna try to post pics if anyone is interested.

eh, no. But she sure does know how to handle! And I get 31 hwy with it, since I did the exhaust and K&N. In this day and age, I will take those numbers over HP anytime.
You know, I forgot I had Coop as my avatar! Man I miss that show...damn you Cartoon Network Bean Counters!

Sandrock where are you living right now?
And the junkyards locally do suck Major( I leave the rest to the imagination )....
The U - Pull - It in Daytona is the ****
A 3400 Monte carlo can pull down better milage numbers.... I thought most of those were rated at 32 with the 3.05 Gear ratio... either way the 3400 is a good engine...
I live a bit north and east of Orlando.... I'm 35-40 miles off I think... Roughly 10 miles from Hwy 50

Well, right now I live about 10 mins from Orlando International Airport. But since its in a motel room, that can change at any time.
I can't wait until I get a place of my own...
Yeah, these yards aren't really comparable to the one in Daytona. But I live close enough to Daytona to go take an every other week trip if i wanted to. Speaking of which...check out my new post.
