Default Pontiacs you have owned...

First car was a 78 Olds Omega...not a Pontiac of course LOL

Second car...still in high school was a 71 GTO. 400 v8 RA III cam (as told to me by previous owner) Holley 600 DP, functional AC and about a million rust holes, 3 different colors 160 MPH speedo (only had it to 130 and chickened out) and the side was caved in by the same owner driving while intoxicated. NEVER DO THAT! Drove it for 3 years, nice powerful car..got an honest 3 mpg.

Had a 83 Trans AM for about a month...probably the biggest POS I have ever owned. I soon traded it for an 84 Cutlass.

1990 Bonneville, current Pontiac. I have actually only owned 3 Pontiacs but all my cars (with the exception of an Escort that my wife thought she wanted briefly, its been all GM.

And to BonnieBroughm..I love your car! I had 2 GM sedans of that vintage and style..an 82 Malibu and an 84 Cutlass Supreme. I always wished for the v8 too! hang on to yours..its something special!

Thanks, crzydmnd72!!! In my lifetime, my mom'* cars, from when I was born to now were: a tan Bonnie about the same vintage as mine, a red Bonnie, about the same vintage as the Red Light District, a Dodge Dynasty (Ay...nasty...thankfully my sis totalled it before i had to deal with the damn thing, everyone who drove it hated it), and now a Ford Windstar.

The Buick had many glitches due to an a** of a previous owner. She did the best she could.
New and busted:

Hi Christine. I hear you about the Dynastys, I have a close friend and co-worker that just bought his in-laws Dynasty, just rolled to 224k miles and still runs strong and quiet, so he is happy.

The Buick looked pretty clean but your Bonneville is definitely better IMO, v8, well cared for and looks like it has lots of options. Cars like that and 87-91 Bonnevilles are getting kinda hard to find around here. No one wants to sell them LOL

Yep, mine'* not getting sold. And believe me, I've had offers. We have a local Pontiac collector who just WON'T give up

My car is awesome. And again, thanks

The problem with the Dynasty was NOT the engine by any means. We had a lot of trouble with the thing fishtailing, and I'm told it was hard to get out of a fishtail (i never drove it). That'* WHY it got totalled...my sis was driving on a gravel road and lost it in the fog, never got it back, and rolled it three and a half times. Good strong body, though. She WALKED AWAY that night.

well I am glad she walked away from that one! Its good to hear that is a well built car to survive being rolled like that. My buddy has 3 children, I love him like a brother and would hate it if anything was to happen to him or his family. I was kinda hoping he would go GM but he loves Dodge lol!

As for the collector...thats what happened to my GTO and in hindsight, I should have found a quiet place to park it till I could have afforded to restore it. cest le vie
