In the Army, we had to take 40 hour blocks of first aid training. It was called Combat Lifesaver course. We called it Combat Lifetaker course. LOL. Funny thing was, we never had to learn CPR. But if you couldn't hit the vein on the second try while giving an I.V, you failed.
