Camcorder Whoreage + Selling Old Digital Camera.
Payday means I got a new toy to mess with for a bit.
I bought the VuPoint DV-DA1-VP Camcorder/camera.
First u get...
The camcorder
Reghargable battery
USB cable
Charger
A/V Cable to hook the camcorder up to your TV
Wrist Strap
Carrying bag
So far its a neato little device. Videos are good and stills are good as well. They look real good on the 2.5 Inch LCD screen. This device acts as a voice recorder AND plays games. Tetris, Sudoku ,Moving Box, and Lotto. Tetris u all should know how to play. Sudoku as well. Moving box is where u move boxes (omg!) around on mazes and get onto a target. Lotto isn't a real game. U just select how many numbers to choose in a field of how many numbers u want.
EDIT: More Info
After having it for another couple days I'm still impressed with it. So I'll summarize some stuff.
Good:
Very good shots/videos
Easy to take shots/videos
It has Tetris!
very compact and portable. Just a bit wider than my old digital camera and slighly thinner
Has its own rechargable battery. Holds solid so far.
Flash is very good. I took a pic in the complete dark and it light the whole room fairly good.
Bunch of little things that u get with it including an A/V cable to display the stuff in your camcorder onto the screen. Carrying pouch and earbuds are good. Not a big fan of earbuds though but they sound ok. I prefer earphone though...
Also it doubles as a voice recorder, PMP, and a PC camera.
But Theres a few down sides.
Bad.
The joystick thingy will take a little getting used to.
Controls for the games suck.
Only supports memory cards up to 1GB
I realized my voice sounds like a Smooth jazz DJ with a raspy tone using the voice recorder. (that is my voice no fault on the camera)
So its definatlly worth checking out. Price ranges from $147 shipped at newegg.com and up.
Hope this helps.
Heres some links.
