W00t OMG!!1!!!!1
Just heard from the mechanic. Motor is in, connected, running, and after idling for 30 mins, oil pressure remains steady at 65. I'm sure it will drop down to the 45-50 range at highway speeds/temps.
My saga appears to be nearing conclusion; she will be dropped off tonight.
Unfortunately for you all, I'll be staying around.
I really gotta say this is the best disciplined (sp), most freindly, respectful, helpful, excellently moderated, best group of people, forum that I've run across since Al Gore invented the internet.
Not once I have seen anyone get sniped for asking a question that has been answered before, or for that matter, anything else.
You should all be very proud of what you've accomplished here.
Thank you all, for the tech help, the moral support, most of all, just for being there.
Look forward to meeting all of you at a meet sometime soon.
Best,
Matt
Off for a celebatory beer now!

Wow. What a difference. The car has more power than ever before (which makes sense). OIl pressure great. Temps great.
Now... on to the restoration of the seats, fix the CC servo, and to start setting aside $ for a paint job.
