I'm more of an ATI guy myself. I have an ATI 9200 card, with 128 memory and 8x speed. Nothing special. But, I play Need For Speed Underground with the graphics turned all the way up, and it barely flinches. Think of the performance of a 9600/9800? Also, what card do you have right now?

MX what? All I know is MX = crap. Stray away from them. Be sure your system is up to the task of your card. You don't want to put a $500 card in a 1.5ghz system . I recommend the graphics card to be equal to the processor price. However, if you have a cheaper graphics card than your processor [like I do], then you have more processing power, than graphic power. 2.5ghz at the very least.

Geforce 4 MX is basically a rebadged Geforce 2 hardware with some new rendering techniques.
6800 is a good card. If you're gonna spend the money on a 9800, just go get an x800.
I still use the vernerable Geforce Ti 4200. Damn cars took my vid card money
