Roller Coaster
Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio is building a new roller coaster for 2003. At 420 ft tall, it will be the tallest in the world--the first to break the 400 ft. barrier. This is the fourth time CP has broken world records for tallest roller coaster: 1976 was the Gemini at 125 ft. 4 in. and 60 mph; 1989 was the Magnum 200XL at 206 ft. and 70 mph; 1999 or 2000 was the Millenium 2000 at 310 ft. and 90 mph; now the Top Thrill Dragster: Race for the Sky will be 420 ft. at 120 mph.
Check it out at http://www.cedarpoint.com/ttd/
This is for all those who enjoy roller coasters. BTW, Cedar Point has been consistantly voted the best amusement park in the world--much better than any of the six flags parks.

The Raptor is an awesome ride too. I like them all--even the Wildcat. Cedar Fair just bought Michigan Adventure last year and they are planning on developing it even larger than CP. They have over 300 acres in Muskegan, so they are shifting development of their parks from Cedar Point (which is pretty full) to Michigan Adventure. It is supposed to eventually become their flagship park. We will see.
