ATTN: Techies (DDalder?)
I have several ultrasonic transducers that I have no use for, and wish to offload. Anyone interested send me a PM. I know it'* kind of a weird thing...and most of you probably don't know wtf I'm talking about, lol, but ultrasonic transducers are used for things like proximity detection in alarm systems or in vehicles for obstacle detection systems. They're neat little things if you know what you're doing with them.
Mainly I brought this up, because I thought someone like DDalder would have the know-how and desire to implement a sophisticated obstacle detection system in his Bonnie.

Uuuggg. They use those here at work in the automatic door openers which totally suck because theres several that I can hear chirping away. They make me want to rip them out the ceilings.

Popatim - you can HEAR them chirping? Interesting. Ultrasonic generally means that it is outside of humans hearing range. However, I suppose that is quite variable.
