I live in a smalltown area, so you get to know people by their cars as well as their faces. Ive been seeing this Mustang around town, not sure of the exact year, looks like the style when they first introduced the 4.6. Its blue, and decked out, but not too overdone, a nice looking car as far as im concerned. But anyway, I kept seeing it around town, and as you would pass it, it would emit this intoxicating whine. One day I saw him get on it and the whine just got louder as he kept getting into it, sounded NICE. I thought "well its a Cobra" then I was working outside one day as it passed and noticed it had GT badges, "okay well he put a supercharger on it" I thought. Then one day I was outside at work again and I saw him pass, but it wasnt whining, then shortly thereafterI hear this sound of something engaging and it starts whining again. So at this point Im thinking that he has something in his exhaust pipe that he can turn on and off or something......

Now I saw him pass while I was working earlier this evening, whining like crazy, you can hear it inside. Keep in mind it sounds very nice coupled with that throaty 4.6 custom exhaust. Then...later that evening, he pulled in to stop where I work. When he came up to the counter I said "hey man, is that thing supercharged?" He kinda gives me this weird look and goes "no" I said "then how come it makes that whining sound?" He goes "oooh that...yeah my transmission is going out" I then commenced to laugh hysterically.....he was like "dude, you dont have to laugh at me" then I explained to him the whole deal and he seemed to think it was mildly funny.

Just thought Id share, because this has been going on for a month or more, of me seeing this car, and saying to myself "I wouldnt wanna mess with that car".

Haha, it'* like putting baseball cards in your spokes, except this costs a hell of a lot more.
