Car help for a friend - INFINITI
I don't know if anyone would have a clue but maybe someone will have an idea:
The car is a G35 sedan, 2004.
The problem: no heat is coming out of the driver'* side. Heat comes out the passenger side, but cold air is coming out on the driver'* side. The dealer she bought it from claims they don't know the problem and they won't cover it.
I figured I'd try and save her some time and money with the knowledge of those here.

I'd say aim for the typical things we see here. Actuators should be one for each side. Or and this is stretching... many imports have a valve that closes off the heater core when not in use from the rest of the cooling system. Maybe there'* two heater cores? Stretching pretty far.

I was thinking actuators first due to what we see here, but I have NFC really.
I'm not thinking it would be the blower motor. And since she is getting cold air, her compressor is obviously working. I'm thinking this is something fairly simple and not a huge problem with her AC system, and she'* going to get charged massively this Friday when she takes it in for service.

Was just out with her in her car. Passenger side is very warm, driver is cold.
John, you bring up a good question. I told her it seemed like her Dual climate was on. She DOES have the button, but pressing it does nothing to the display. It should change from DRIVER/PASSENGER to each separate. But if you press the button nothing happens at all.
Her book gives one dash diagram showing the button, but instructions on the Dual Zone says "if so equipped."
I don't see why they'd give her a button for it if she didn't have that option. But Infiniti is not GM. I know GM would just put an ugly plastic filler piece in its place, but she has the actual button.
I didn't find anything through searching on the G35 forums yet...
