Default More Info on Flood Cars from New Orleans

If you haven't seen this yet, I thought you might find the following article from snopes.com interesting: http://www.snopes.com/katrina/politics/carcrush.asp

Now mind you, there'* no guarantee that these cars are really going to be crushed now....

We have had to be very careful on the cars we insure to make sure they are not salvaged cars from Katrina. We get notices all the time on what to look for when inspecting vehicles.

Parts would be nice!

We could always use some more Gen V'* in the market place to lower the price.

Each flood car there needs to be sawed in half and then sold at auction for parts only. That would hopefully ensure the cars would not be resold and put on the road.

There also needs to be some kind of policy in place to save classic or rare cars to be resold with a salvage title.

In Cortland, NY. Their is a small dealership that 'imports' cars from Florida and sells them up here. Makes me wonder what condition these cars are in. Other than salt free.
