No, you'd be surprised how hard it is to reach the back seat b/c the 2 front buckets are so close together.
Yup. It'* designed like a sardine can. I have constant bruises on my upper arms from trying to maneuver enough to roll down the windows without leaving the driver'* seat.

Yup, and now the Cobalt SS is whoopin on the SRTs at every turn. Gettin some back for the GM boys!!

BB, if you like the way your Neon drives and want to keep your fuel mileage but with some better pickup, try finding either a Shadow ES or Duster with the 3.0 V.6.

If you can find one with relatively low mileage(under 120k), they're a great little car. My brother'*(which is a horrible example of the breed, as my brother bought it from a junkyard for $300) gets around 30mpg, will do a 14.9, and shares most of the suspension with the Neon, as it is the car that the Neon was later based on.
The one major change my brother made was to swap out the Duster'* A604 automatic trans(same auto as your Neon) for the 5-speed that came with the 4-cyl, a pretty easy swap, but not something you'd do unless you were going for a track car.

But for good gas mileage it makes sense to have one. My neighbor back in NY had one and loved it because of the mileage.
ha one guy I worked with wanted me to change the waterpump on his neon for him so i figured I save him some cash & I make some but I did my research..... And the water pump was driven by the timing chain to I didn't want to mess with that.
