Default Free Bonneville desktops, posters & greeting cards

Hello all!

As a way of introducing myself and my silver 1998 SLE to all of you on these boards, I've created a series of unique Bonneville illustrations. The illustrations feature my '98 SLE (and 4 other color variations) and can be downloaded as free desktop images. Posters and greeting cards are also available from the same link. Enjoy!

Excellent entrance Dave. Thanks for the goodies.

I'm sure those images will be used by a few people

Wicked backgrounds man....

Any plans to do them for the 87-91 styles and/or 2000+

BTW.... just curious how you made them... freehand computer, or did you use various photshop effects? :?:

No, I don't currently plan to create any more for other models.

How did I create them? The image is based on a photograph I took of my car. I used the photograph as a template in Illustrator and drew all the paths over it from scratch. So the end result is an entirely original image created by myself.

Which brings me to my next point...apparently someone from this forum alerted Zazzle (the poster/card site) that I was trying to profit from copyrighted images and they have been removed. I am trying to appeal that decision because by that logic I believe that any image or any photograph of any product that was ever for sale is a copyright violation, including many other images on that site. So if I can figure out a way to make them "legit" (maybe just remove any reference to "Pontiac" or "Bonneville" in the descriptions) I'll re-post them. But in the meantime the custom poster/card links are dead. The desktops are still available though.
