A trip down memory lane. (56k grab a beer)
Here'* some pics of my former cars. They were pre-kids. All were sold long ago.
The 442 W-30 convert was a national champion in 1984 and 1985 and won numerous other titles. It is featured in the book "American Muscle Cars" by Randy Leffingwell on pages 128-133.

I bought the GS off a carlot in 1980. The original owner traded it in as he had a new baby and they had to get a more practical car. It had only 29,000 actual miles on it and was mint. I sold it to the owner of a local Buick dealership 3 years later. Very smooth and fast.

This was my daily driver. Just a plain 442, no W-30 option.

I bought this as a driver after I sold the 442 coupe. Came out of California and was loaded with options.

Those are very nice rides. Many of us (that are old enough) owned some pretty unique cars and ended up selling them off for one reason or another. Always fun to look back and think about the "if only I would have.....".

I sold the W-30 for $13,000 in 1987. That was the top value listed for it in the "Old Car Price Guide" magazine. Within a couple of years, the Japanese started buying muscle cars for investments, and the price was up to $25,000. Prior to that, it had only increased about 10% per year.

This first pictures is from my friends house across the street, Roadrunner very rare, the guy is currently fixing it up.(its more like a spy shot, i had to zoom in to get this one)

This second picture is from a shop about 10 minutes from my house they have alot of rare cars. They have two of these puppies, the other one is identical but blue.

WOW!!! Those are some stunning cars!! I don't doubt for one second the condition and attention to detail that was put into those cars after seeing your SSE, which is undoubtedly one of the 5 nicest SSE'* here on BC, if not the nicest.
