so my whole side of town is getting the streets resealed. they are tarring and peerocking. it sucks, especially since i dont like a spec of dirt on my car, i have to wash it daily!

anyways, we have a huge hill that goes downtown, and they were peerocking at the time. a dump truck driver was going down the hill, supposidly lost all his brakes and ran into a RR crossing stop arm. the damage was quoted over $10,000!!! and they have been working all day to get it fixed.

all that was yesterday

so today,

i drive down town, and see that one of the 2 stoplights in town is missing. i guess the SAME driver was driving through town with the bed up on his dump truck and totally knocked over the whole upper part of the stoplight. talk about a bad week on the job, he'll be lucky to keep his job
