Friday the 13th, Port Dover, Ontario.
Hi Everybody,
Thought I'd share a few pics of our trip to Port Dover to check out all the bikes for Friday the 13th.
For those who don't know, every Fry 13th, a whole lot of bikes and enthusiasts get together in this sleepy little town, just outside of Hamilton, ON. This event was HUGE as it was the 20th year, and the last until next year.
The numbers: 150,000 bikes. 250,000 people, in a small town. Wow.
My wife (Lissa) and I went from Thursday night and came home Saturday morning. We camped at a near by school yard. Camping was $20.00ea / night. We don't own a bike, but we had to check it out. Here are some pics, enjoy!!

Above are some bikes that really jumped out at us. There were so many works of art, we could have taken thousands of pictures.
The next ones are an attempt to capture just how many people were there. If you wanted a beer: Plan ahead!!

Hope you enjoyed the pics. The next one is in June, 2008. It will be massive too, as it'* the only one next year, I believe.
Yes: If Friday the 13th falls during the winter, there are bikes to see. These people are dedicated!
(Friday the 13 started 20 years ago to pay homage to a well respected biker who was killed in Port Dover, Ontario)
You don't have to be a biker to enjoy it! Great people, lots to see. If you can make it, I highly recommend it!!
Cheers,
Adam
