2005 Pittsburgh Auto Show at the Convention Center

The Buick Lacrosse is replacing the Century (I believe) and the Regal. I asked if there were any Regals on the floor and they said no because its going to die. Then he said that there is word of mouth about re-making the Grand National.

No Bonnevilles on the floor either, looks like GM didnt want to bring any vehicles that are controversial or going to die. The Northstar engine had a little sign by it that said, "Made specifically for Cadillac". The GTO on the floor did have the LS2 in it, and Im digging the hood scoops on it. At the Land Rover section I was talking to the guy, and he mentioned that the Supercharged V-8 Rover Sport will be coming out in June, and HP numbers are going to be high 300. Something to contend with the BMW SUV's. One of the Jeep Wranglers on the floor had the steering wheel upside down, and the tires were facing strait, I thought that was a little wierd. When I was walking through the Toyota section, some kids were really pumped up about the Altezza lights on the vehicle, I thought that was gay to be that exicted about freakin tailights. I saw a lot of old people in the Mercury section.

Is that what that Jeep is? I was looking at it, hoping it was a vast improvement on the Liberty (sorry, I'm just not a fan-the Cherokee Sports were better).

Man, my local auto show sucks. Pontiac only had three cars, I'll let you guess which ones. No Z06, STS, Viper, GTO, only a couple concept cars, no exotics, except for two Porsches, no Lucerne, Cobalt SS. Basically all the newish cars that I wanted to see weren't there.

i dont like the steering wheel for the gto i wish the would put the one from the new z06 or the GP on it.
