Aurora 4.0 2001 Questions?
 

Any major problems that I should know about?

My dad is looking at buying one, but it has an oil leak and a motor mount is loose. The owners broght it to where my dad lives and my dad had his mechanic put it in the air and inspect it, but they (the mechanics) can not pin-point exactly where the leak is at.

the 4.0 was completely rebuilt in the 2001 Model year. Over at the Aurora Forums we haven't seen any common failures or problems with either the 4.0 or 3.5 engines. The only common problem is the failure of the crankshaft position sensor and it's a relatively cheap repair to perform. there aren't any known common areas for these engines to leak oil from though. If you want, you can also try asking on the Aurora Forums. ;)
