In the Army now....
Well, i know i have brought this up once before but i have talked to the recruiter and for the most part i am good to go!! due to some money issues i have decided to inlist now as opposed to after collge. im waiting on a waiver to go through (ya i did some stupid sheet when i was younger, almost 10 yrs ago) but i was told it should go through with out a problem!!!
but as it looks right now i will be leaving for basic next friday!!!
but how do i tell my girlfreind that im leaving...
Medical Laboratory Specialist (68K)
or
Health Care Specialist (68W)
those are the two im tryin to get into...
but the only thing that REALY sucks is going through basic in aug and sept... the two hottest months of the yr... well thanks!!

Good luck dude!
One thing to keep in mind though...and it may have been mentioned already...is that whatever military career you choose, make sure it'* one that allows easy translation into the civilian world.
Medic shouldn't be a problem, as there will always be a need for them both in the service and outside of it. I chose cryptology. Not much of a need for it in the civie world :?
