A foot and a half on the ground, and coming down lightly now here in N.E PA. It was -6 last night. Unreal for this time of the year. Bring Al Gore here, I want to choke his global warming arse!.

I here ya, we had 3 snow storms in a row, about a week between them, just enough time to dig out. We've had a total of 77 inches so far. Winter has made it'* point, spring can come any time now.

i dont get as much snow as you guys but
michigan has been going over averages for this month and for the season.
if i remember correctly they said 7" over average for the month. and 11" over average for the season. and we all know michigan half that melted the next day and turned to ice.
and were on a salt shortage and some counties already ran out.
i love this place.

I had to cut my grass again yesterday. :( Was too warm with a sweater on, had to strip down to my tee shirt. Just about back to normal Vancouver Island weather.

Don't equate changes in weather to changes in climate. In fact, in southern Ontario, we received .85 metres of snow (a near record), however it there was 11 days out of the month where it was above 0 degrees Celsius (32F), that is unheard of for February.
The increase in snow fall was due in part to increased storm activity out of the US southern region, starting in the Gulf of Mexico. Increased winter storm activity from the south is a real concern. The bulk of southern Ontario snow comes out of the west, not the south.
This holds true not only in my neck of the woods, but all through the eastern half of this continent.

I was sick of it in December! February set a record for snow fall, and we've had at least some snow for 45 out of the last 50 days. We're at just a bit over 93 inches so far for the season. Time to warm up! I have work to do. Hopefully, it won't be as long as PDad has to wait!
