depends on the bolt-ons... i saw a gmc denali pickup run 14.6 with only intake and exhaust work

edit: it was a 6.0

I trounced many a car with my mildly modded 98 Z71. And it was an extended-cab 3rd door.

a friend of mine has a '95 with just an aftermarket intake, and a 4.11rear end.. and it can smoke the tires up to like 40mph. It'* super fast..

He hasn't brought it to the track.. so i have no clue about times.. but it'* real quick

Anything with a 350 can be made quick fairly easily. A small block is easy to make quick. You just have to do the right stuff. Headers and a 3" exhaust without any other mods probably isn't too wise.

A kid that I go to school with thought his 350 1500 pickup was quick with headers and exhaust until he tried to race me, and after I gave him a 3 car lead and then proceeded to smoke the tires off (costing me even more time) and quickly catch and pass him. (at the track of course)

and it can smoke the tires up to like 40mph. It'* super fast..
If its smoking the tires off it won't be too fast. To go fast it usually helps to get traction. Will it break the tires loose at 40, of if you start smoking them from a stop it will smoke them until you reach 40? (out of curiosity) My Lumina will smoke them to 40mph if you go WOT from a stop, it just won't break them loose unless you're going like 15 or so.

yeah, he stomps on the gas, and the tires will smoke up until the car is moving about 40MPH. It tops out a little around 100.. i know it can't max out the speedo [100mph], so it'* all about acceleration. the tire slip gets pretty weak past 20mph, but it'* still smokin.' I think he gives like 3/4 throttle from a stop, lights 'em up, then as it gets alittle weak, give more throttle, because it so easily will just whip around.. it takes quite a bit of manuvering to keep it going straight.

Most newer Chevy trucks have 98mph speed limiters, unless they are diesel then it is 96mph. So thats probably why it tops out under 100.
