The kids are leaving for my parents house for a week . We have the drags this weekend and I don't like to race when the kids are around. So instead of just taking them for the weekend, my parents offered to take them for the whole week!!! The kids can't wait, they love spending time with their grandparents. They will be going camping, and swimming and all that fun stuff. Next weekend my parents are taking the kids to a fair and getting them all hyped up on cotton candy and junk and then sending them home. I am sooooooooo looking forward to having a week with NO kids!!!!

You go girl! It'* always nice to get a little freedom from the kids every now and then. The kids around her have been back in school for the past 2 weeks so I see a lot of relieved moms come into my office.

Jess, it would be a HOT boring day, and you'd be stuck watching Andrew by yourself while Dad helps Mom in the Staging lanes. That'* my bet. Your'e gonna have alot more fun with the old people.

Remember how hot and nasty it was at Woodburn? Now imagine it with just you and Andrew in the stands by yourselves. Even if they gave you beer money, it would suck.

The reason I don't like to race when the kids are around.....and yes I LOVE YOU little Jess, is because in case something happenes, they do not need to see mom burst into a ball of flame or go end over end.....plus, I want to stay focused on the race and I also need a break from my kids!!!!!!!!
