I've only coverted DVD to AVI and MPEG. Not the other way around.

Basically, DVD format is an MPEG with some other info. I don't know of any software that will do this though.

just get nero 6 ultra.. and when prompted for new CD, use the drop down menu for "DVD" instead of "CD", and pick "DVD MOVIE" from the side catagories. Then the file browser on the right you can use to find the file, drag and drop it in the "VIDEO_TS" folder. and burn away my friend. PM if you want Nero.

I have used Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD SVCD Converter
and it worked just fine...took quite awhile to convert.

There is Super DVD Creator 7.5 which looks good...the trial does only 2 min...but looked good
and I am looking for a code for it to try one full length.

I hear DVDSanta works well also... trial here... http://www.dvd-guides.com/files/dvdsetuprn32542.exe
