well today just aint my day. it first started with my 95 se pcm dieing and almost leaving me stranded at my daughters school so i parked it in the garage only to take out my 88 sse untill i grabbed a new pcm from the yard this weekend. so i pulled it out and went to pick up halloween decorations and costums and as we went to leave the store it was raining extremely hard so i ran to the car and came around to pick up the wife and kids so they did not get wet and when we started driving home the whole entire windshield on the top was pooring inn rain so much it soaked half of my roof liner and wet me and the wife.. kids in the back stood dry.. so we went home and went to go change and my wife is in the bedroom and hears a funny noise coming from the 3rd floor. my dog was down stairs and my cat was in the bathroom locked up in the first floor. so i went to investagate and HOLY $H!T this is what i found

looks like you are going to need a new ceiling, do you have homeowners insurance or renters insurance?

i think the computer survived. and yes i have home owners insurance and im covered in everey which way possible.. BUT since i just bought the house 2 weeks ago and it had the roof repaired twice in the two months before i closed so it will be fully the old owners responsibility.. i had contacted my realestate agent and he will contact the old owners attorney first thing in the morning.. and i just paid $580 out of pocket for a 24 hour emergency roofer and that will be reimbersed to me as well....... this is just not my day......

I have never sen anything like that before. Really sucks man, glad that you have things under control though, as far as the house. Sorry to hear about the cars, too. Haven't been having to good of times lately, myself, know how you feel.

I have that same EXACT ceiling fan in my dining room. The big "dimple" reminded me of something else though
