Forza Motorsport
I sat down at a local Best buy yesterday and did a few races on forza with the big screen and wireless x box controller.
Graphics were less then I was expecting from internet fanboys. ALthough i mighta been too close to the big screen, and it could've been on std. definition, it still wasn't that great. GT4 wins in this dept.
Controls were fairly standard. I did find the display to be a little akward, the shift light isn't very obvious, and some things weren't setup in the best spot/way. It did have some good options in game for what'* displayed. Maybe i'm used to GT series, but It'* still king.
Cars selection was pretty impressive, as was tracks. I raced an (Lotus Elise racer) Exige on Road Atlanta (sweet course, wish i lived closer and had an opportunity to drive it) and it was nicely done. The Exige was damn fun. Which leads me to...
Physics, the biggest part of a racing sim. It does have more physics processing then GT4. If you lock up tires into a corner you'll overheat them, and burn them up. Over-reving an engine will cause damage u must pay for at the end of the race. There'* also damage to the chassis, you can mess up your alignment. The AI was pretty good, but REALLY aggressive. I got spun out 2 times in 6 laps of racing. They were just jealous.. Driving the cars has a slight numbed or disconnected feeling over what i'm used to in GT4. I was able to control them well, and had some nice sections with the exige and hanging the tail out some thru chicanes, etc. GT4 feels more on the edge, more like HARD racing. I'm sure with more seat time on the xbox it would be closer. However it'* easier to just bump up HP and win races then trying the same in GT4.
Overall it'* better the PGR, still under GT4 in my books. It does have more customization in looks, less in performance. Anyone got it or played it?

I heard the AI in Forza was dumber than GT4 - as if AI in GT4 wasn't bad enough
But, you're the most credible person I've heard from yet, so I'll take your word for it at the moment.
Anyone tried Enthusia?

The AI will avoid wrecks (pretty well). There was a mess after i came over a turn on a crest, the AI in my pack dodged them well.
They also have revenge... You nail them, they come looking for you. It'* much better then the GT4 AI, also known as "i don't see you, so i'll just go thru your line".
