Another great day in my life! NOT

Well after a phone conversation I had today with my "supervisor" basically Friday ( tomorrow) is my last day with the company. He pretty much didn't give me much choice but to quit. So no notice at all. Funny thing is that he was with me during the week but was too much a a fucking coward to tell me this face to face.

To top it of the last thing he said insulted me BIG time. Basically he said if I didn't like things his way, go ask my dad for a job. Talk about Unprofessional.

So that really throws a kink in my plans to buy Frakenbonne. Isn't life great. A month ago Renee breaks up with me, now I loose my job. At least I have Crystal to help me through all this shit.

Gumball 08-18-2006 01:22 AM

OMG your Avatar is playing right into your life.
Really sorry to hear that Mike.

sse1990 08-18-2006 01:25 AM

Yeah well shit happens, and at least in my personal life I moved onto better things, so I just hope my next career move will be the same.

Maybe I will have to start a "buy a Canadian a Bonneville fund"

WTF...classy bastard eh Mike?

Over the years you must have made some contacts in all your travels!?

sse1990 08-18-2006 08:12 AM

Yeah, I do already have a few options in front of me that I am going to explore and I will see form there.

I know I just have to make one call and I can be working Monday if I want, but I need to explore all my options before I do that.

SSE14U24ME 08-18-2006 10:48 AM

I'm sure you want to go back to bed and stay there for a while. Things will work themselves out, we all go through peaks and valleys. It is just your turn, my friend. Hang in there!!

Echo SSEI 08-18-2006 10:51 AM

Geez, MIke...you really could use a shot of good fortune. Sorry to hear about the job. Hopefully, though, this will lead to something better. I am sending out my "good vibes" in a Northeastern direction (hopefully they reach you soon).

BillBoost37 08-18-2006 11:01 AM

DUCK TAPE!!!!!

Mike..I've been through a couple lay offs where I found myself unemployed. Each time I found another job...there's tons out there. As well.. each time I noticed my paycheck increased from the old to the new job.

The quickest way to increase your income level is change companies. It's a positive thing and most likely you will find a job with a larger paycheck.

MyLittleBlackBird 08-18-2006 11:02 AM

At this point, it sounds like he needs a shot of whiskey first. A little nerve relaxer never hurt anyone. I hope you can get what you are after in terms of a job. Then mail a box of dog crap to your previous employer.

BillBoost37 08-18-2006 11:11 AM

Yeah..and on the up side... at least no one sent ya a Ford...(j/k Doug...lol)

PRD2BDF 08-18-2006 11:26 AM

I'll send you five bucks for that fund. That's American, so it'll be worth more in Canada ;) Where do I send it to?

Cheetah 08-18-2006 11:29 AM

Keep your chin up Mike, it'll all work out ;)

dbeast420 08-18-2006 11:51 AM

That really sucks

It could be worse,ya could be Canadian. Oh,never mind

LMAO! Ah Geez... I think Boosty summed it up just right...this is your opportunity to find something better! Hurray!! I'm happy for you! This is a GREAT opportunity! Perhaps you won't have to travel so much...and then you can spend more time with Crystal! 8) ;)

sse1990 08-18-2006 08:28 PM

Thanks guys. You know for once in my life I am NOT concerned or getting worried about loosing a job. Sure I have alot of bills to pay, but since meeting Crystal and seeing how well I came out of that situation, I am looking forward to what life will throw my way.

Since the word got out about my loss of job, I already have offers being made to me through other people. I could be working Monday if I choose, but I am taking this opportunity to take a step back evaluate ALL my options and go from there. I will take a week possibly 2 ( only cause the second week may be able to be spent with Crystal, lol), before I make a call and get another job to fill the void till other things start to happen. I may need to find a job till next spring before a few things open up for me.

It just pisses me off that I can't get Frankie now cause of it. I know what my priorities are and I just want Frankie, never mind a job, lmfao.

MyLittleBlackBird 08-18-2006 08:39 PM

Thata boy! Have a beer!

crzydmnd72 08-18-2006 08:55 PM

When one door closes, well you know the rest now comes the freedom to pursue better!

OUCH!

Mike, althought I'm not really religious, I'll say a prayer for you anyway, it can't hurt.

Can it?

Well I will have some pictures that I may post later, but I just sent my last old truck off this morning. It was a 1970 Dodge Fargo power wagon, built like a tank. Renee wanted it so she had it towed away with her new BF.

I did put the Bonneville back into a driving condition since I yanked all the AC out of it. Had a bit of fun once I started it back up again ( pictures to follow later and a vid).

I so badly want Franky now especially since I got behind the wheel of the white one today. Damn I miss driving a Bonneville. It's just not the same being stuck driving a Malibu around.

If there is any way I can find the $$$ if I have to beg, borrow or steal, I HAVE to get frankie at this point, gotta keep my sanity, lol.

repinS 08-20-2006 08:19 AM

I think the deal on mine fell through, the guy who agreed to buy hasn't been seen since, he hasn't shown the money. $500 and keeping the tank above half gets you to Sudbury no problem! lol

I think I'd rather you get Franky though. Last thing you need is a Beaterville. Hope it all works out.

so did you talk with Randy?
make it quick. I think he has another looker.

sse1990 08-21-2006 01:12 AM

No I didn't talk to him, and right now with loosing my job, I need to find $$$ for it. I would really hate to see it leave the club and all, but life always finds a way to go nasty on me when I really want something.

BonneMeMN 08-21-2006 02:33 AM

Not sure what your situation is, but if you have the grey one still, there's always a swap for you in the future? I'm sure he'd be willing to help ;)

Jim W 08-21-2006 07:44 AM

Its sold already!

BillBoost37 08-21-2006 08:05 AM

Mike...

Myself... 94bonnessei and Highlander parked next to and walked past Frankie on Saturday..

If you are seriously interested...I'd call and at least talk to Randy.

sse1990 08-21-2006 11:45 AM

I am serious cause that is all I can talk about, well except talking about Crystal, lol. But I know that right now financially with loosing my job, I couldn't give a definite answer as to when I could send the $$$ for it. I want to try and at least have some $$$ for a down payment to at least hold onto it for me but I may not be working for a few weeks and still have plenty of bills left to pay for.

I will try and call him this week to at least talk to him and see what can't be done.

BonneMeMN 08-21-2006 02:17 PM

Personally i would worry about finances, bills, etc. A car is just a car, it shouldn't put you financially into risk. Especially if you have a reliable car at the moment.

I agree. Sadly, my Bonnie is sitting in my drivway right now with expired tags and insanely high oil pressure, but no matter how much I love her, and I do, my previous obligations come first

Maymybonnieliveforevr 08-21-2006 02:48 PM

Can I ask a silly question? What is "Frakenbonne", I realise it's a car, is it the white 90 SSE that you purchased awhile back?

rjolly87 08-21-2006 03:22 PM
