I'm always suspicious of a car (or boat) ad that says "for a 30-minute, $100 fix this $1,000 vehicle could sell for $5,000."

In MI you can't sell more than 5 vehicles in one year without having a dealer's license. Granted you can sell more than 5, but you'll be lieved some fines if you can't show evidence of a license.
You might want to check that out before you proceed....or just wait until next year to resell it. But, that would cut into your resaleability for next year. Just food for thought. |

if I got it for $700 with a bad tranny, I would part it out.

If you part it, I'm calling dibs on the interior if the condition's good. (Seats, carpet, console, door panels, and anything else that's color dependent... I don't like tan).
