I'm always suspicious of a car (or boat) ad that says "for a 30-minute, $100 fix this $1,000 vehicle could sell for $5,000."

You might want to check that out before you proceed....or just wait until next year to resell it. But, that would cut into your resaleability for next year. Just food for thought.

thanks for the info Mark. I joke with my friends about that, but I guess I am starting to look as that being a possibility.

So...would that make you "Haro the blow-dealer"?

I mean, er...the "blown dealer".

In any case, I can see it now..."Haro's Huffer Emporium". That has a nice ring to it.

I better shuddup.

Better make sure the trani is not fried. That would be the show stopper....unless you give it the $1,500 quicky repair. ;)

if I got it for $700 with a bad tranny, I would part it out.

Adeianos Nov 3, 2007 07:11 PM

If you part it, I'm calling dibs on the interior if the condition's good. (Seats, carpet, console, door panels, and anything else that's color dependent... I don't like tan).
