Default Cicada'* Anyone?

So next week is the week us Mid-westerners have been dreading for weeks now. The Cicada'* are coming back after 17 years without them. I personally have never seen a Cicada because the last time they were around I was 6 years old. So I was to young to remember them. But everyone I have ran into for the past 3-4 weeks have been complaining and "OMG THERE GONNA KILL MY TREES!!!" My mom said the last time they were here, she needed an umbrella just to get from the house to the car. So now we get to deal with these buggers for the next 4-7 weeks.

Discuss........

My buddy down in VA had this problem, he said to keep lots of bug & tar remover handy, several shop rags, windsheild washer fluid, and a fresh set of wiper blades doesn't hurt either.

YUK! Is what coomes to mind...
