Default Road debris hit my truck...

Coming home from a friends house about 5 miles away and I need to merge onto a freeway and off right away at the next exit. Well, there is a car in front of me going about 45-50 in a 55 (not a problem). Then it swerves and kicks up some debis. They tried to avoid it but didn't. It appears to be about a 12ft section of rain gutter. Now after they ran over it, it didn't just lay there for me to avoid. It went airborne and started wobbling across lanes and right into the front of my truck. It hit somewhere on the drivers side about grill level. This morning I went out to take a look (now that it is light out) and here is all I saw. I guess it could have been worse.

Seems to be a bit deep to "buff out". But I am sure it won't take too much to take care of it. :(

that sucks....That is the one downside to people who carry stuff, they dont always secure it.

I was with my boss the other day (mowing) and there was a guy (I forget the business but it was one) where the ladder had fallen out of the back of his tuck. it was a 55 section also.

It really isn't that hard to put another strap on stuff...I just don't see why people dont.

Seen a new CTS-V at a body shop already....Had 2000 miles on it and they were driving down the freeway and a ladder came off a guys truck and took out the hood roof windshield and the passenger door.

That really sucks. Little deep for a buff but, looks like it will come out and be barely noticeable.

I'm not sure buffing would be the best route there Gordy. How about something new and cool for the damaged area. Maybe a different front end...meaner looking!

That sucks. Hopefully it won't be too expensive to redo.
