This is the car that some of y'all thought was a Continental. It is the Mercury version of the Continental. It is a 1966 Mercury Monterey Marauder 4Door Fastback, of which only about 10000 were made. It is all original with a big block 390ci 2V V8. It has a C4 tranny with a 9" rear end. I like it. Riding in the back seat is like riding in a limo b/c the Cpillar wraps around your head, kinda. Well, here'* some pics!
^^The only serious rust on the car. All of the rest is surface rust.
It needs an alternator and brake fluid. Otherwise, it runs great. And yes, those are power windows and locks!

The quarter panel won't be so bad, it'* all flat except for a lip on the bottom. The other side can be used as a template.
And lakeville, you can't have my car. It'* mine.

Sure beats the dog of a Marauder they had in 2003. I wish I had the time and money to restore an old muscle car. Did ford have the 460 yet at that time? I know the Continental and Mark IV had a 460 option during the 70s.
