'92 Olds 98 - Yea or Nay?
What do you guys think of them? There's a '92 about 40 miles from me with 88k on it, they say in the ad it's in excellent condition, and it's only $2200 omo! (omo means obo, right?) They say book is $2800 (close-excellent condition on KBB is $2710). I'm pretty sure I've seen this thing sitting in there for a while, mostly because they're undesirable, for some reason (styling?) and they must have just recently have lowered the price in order to try and get it sold. So what do you guys think of them? Could I eventually end up adding performance items, if I so wished? It does have that bulletproof Series I in it, after all ;)
Opinions, rants, raves, etc. all welcome :) Thanks again, to everyone! |
Same thing as a 92 Bonneville mod wise. So you can toss suspension, and brake stuffm, at it. You can do all the mods any of us series 1 guys have, etc.
I've always wondered what those would look like with tinted tail lights. |
:D I think I'll have to look at this thing...

I forget what the 98's look like. I'm more familiar with the 88's. They're good cars. They just aren't bonnevilles :D

Lol oh yah, a 98, not an 88. Same thing as a Park Ave i believe. A lil bigger, and actuallyhe chassis (suspension) might not be exactly the same, but there should be some stuff available for it.

I've always liked Oldsmobiles. I had an 88 and loved the ride. It was a great running car and I rarely had any trouble with it.

Not to mention, again, that it has only 88k and it's only $2200, obo at that. It definitely deserves a look :)
