Default Web-site building software

Looking to purchase web-site building software. I have five domains purchased from godaddy that I pay for every year, but do not use.

I am happy to pay for the software, even for the Adobe product. Hoping to find something with good templates. I purchased a web design software two years ago, and it was more a toy software. Anyone that published using the software had a very amateur looking web-site.

I am looking for software that a non-techie can use, but makes a very professional looking web-site. I am willing to go to a community college or n-line course to learn the software.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Mike

Adobe Fireworks if you want to use what the pros use.

There is a fairly steep learning curve though because of that.

Thanks for the information. I have a copy of Frontpage 2003 but was unable to figure it out.

Checking out the Adobe web-site, they also have a product called Dreamweaver. Any thoughts on how Dreamweaver compares to Fireworks?

They both work very well. I've used both, well I've actually used all of Adobe'* products to some degree to accomplish what I was doing.

Download the trials to both, and see which you like more?

yeah, definitely download the trials before you drop any money. adobe is too expensive to just buy it and hope for the best. if you wanted a more basic website you could always just learn code. its a royal pita but its free and easy. just tedious.
