2 computers....1 can login automatically, the other can't

Me and another member has 2 computers. One of them can login here with no problem. The other computer doesn't, even if we checked the box to login automatically and log out then log back in, the computer doesn't go in automatically in the website. We have to do it manually. Anyone know how to troubleshoot this?

That other member would be yours truly. Maybe wilwren or 89BonnieSE89 may know of a fix. I may have have last night. My Dim 8200 would require me to enter my username and password everytime I logged on. On my Dim 4550 all I did was to click the Logon button at the top of page and I would be re-directed to the page with the info already filled in. Yesterday, I changed my password on the 8200 thinking that might help but it didn't. I still had to manually enter the username and password. On a whim I tried something else. Instead of using the logon button at the top of the page I scrolled to the bottom of the page logged in there put a checkmark in the box and I got a pop up message asking if I wanted Windows to remember my password. That was a good sign.
Now it works, but only if I log on at the bottom ot the page. If I try to log on using the top button it won't. It has me scratching my head.

It does sound like a cookie, or security settings, issue. If I were at work, I cold send you the premade script we have for this, but my version is (for IE):

Click Tools and select Internet Options...(new window opens)

Click Settings button(new window opens)

Click View Files (a Windows explorer window will open)

Select All and Delete

You will have to log in to all your pages that require it the next time you go there, butt all your cookies and such will be deleted, aka reset. This should help.
