1985 Cutlass Ciera
I just got it for free. It has 40,000 miles on it. Runs fine, slow but fine. I know absolutely nothing about it, other than its a 3 speed fuel injected. Wondered it anybody here had a car similar to it. I might sell it or just keep. Its in mint condition just a little rust in the drivers door.

Does the Ciera have the 3800? Pretty sure it is. I had a similar car the 85 Olds Regency. it went to the junkyard with 237,000 miles on it and the engine stir started and purred. The problem was, the winters and salt here rotted everything around the drive train. With 40,000 on it, it can serve you for a long long time.M only concern is the mileage beiong so low makes you think it sat for an extended time mot running. And that usually results in seals and hoses and lines rotting and rusting, soon to start giving you problems. Did it just sit, or is it a matter of just occasional use. Big difference.

It'* sounding more and more like a car to flip. Depends on the market there and what you can get for it. Almost a classic. LOL.

I agree. Sounds like a perfect winter/DD car. I ran a beater that had that engine/trans combo, and it was pretty reliable. The only thing that I didn't like was the oil filter was just a paper element and it was located IN the oil pan. The motor isn't the smoothest running thing ever, but it gets the job done. The overall lack of low end torque made it great in the snow too.
