If I had a gf anymore, I'd show her I care. But I don't, so I'm not.

Guys, it isn't all it's cracked up to be. Really! This year I am alone but I've had a really good day. I'm not bothered by it. I don't want to be in a relationship just for the sake of having someone there for Valentine's day. Your time will come and you will meet someone that is right for you. I think that everyday should be time to show your loved one's how you feel about them, not just on one day of the year. It isn't "I love you every day but today I love you even more." That is where I think people get caught up in the commotion. Society has us trained that we have to go out and buy expensive gifts and send flowers on this one day "just because." It would mean more to me if a guy picked a dandelion on any other given day just because he was thinking about me and not because he felt like he had to.
Remember- Today is also National Singles Awareness Day. ;)

Well, I have again celebrated Valentine's Day by myself. I have been single every single Valentine's Day of my life. Kinda pitiful if you think about it.
I'm 22 and been alone every valentines day. I don't care. Why do you? And why is it pitiful? What are you doing inside anyways. You should be out tooling around on you're ATV. At least thats what I would do if I was 15 and lived down south. Valentines day is a conspiracy holiday anaways. Its for jewlry companies and Fanny Me to roll in the riches.

It's been a while since I had a V-day with someone. But it doesn't bother me.

It shouldn't take just one day out of the year to show someone you care, whether they are a significant other or not.

I'm in the same boat. my 20th year. It's alright though because I spent the day with my mom. It was just 2 1/2 months since my parent's divorce was filed, and she stayed at home crying most of the day while he was out on a date. I was there for her when she needed me, and I think that's what valentines day should really be about, not buying stuff for people, but being there for them wh en they really need you, and showing that you care. :D

Ehh valentines day... i'm such a sap i give all my girlfriends presents and i don't even get the valentines day "lovin", if ya know what i mean. One girl i'm close with got roses today, another got brownies (yes, some men CAN bake). I'm still waiting for my return... lol.
