Let it snow
QUick look outside......yup its snowing :P

MyLittleBlackBird 01-14-2007 10:24 AM

You traded in Andrew for a snow blower? And it only adds 13 hp? How much torque?

PontiacDad 01-14-2007 10:28 AM

No i didnt trade in the Son, but I like your idea

I hope theres enough torque to chuck it up the snow bank. Add about 3' to this pic.

MyLittleBlackBird 01-14-2007 10:31 AM

I bet you could get a nitrous kit for it, for those extra deep drifts  Either way, I don't think I'd want to get my foot caught in it.

corvettecrazy 01-14-2007 12:15 PM

I wish we had that much snow

bonnie94ssei 01-14-2007 01:04 PM

What's that thing for?

its840 01-14-2007 01:09 PM

i was gonna say 13 hp dont ya think thats a bit of overkill but then i membered you live i canada... so 13 hp might be a lil bit underrated for ya... need to get the 50 hp version that way you can take all the snow from your yard and throw it to your neigbors....

2000SilverBullet 01-14-2007 01:20 PM

 With that much snow, a Blower is essential.

 Now you have a blower for your driveway and in your driveway.

Now get on up on your roof and shovel. 8)

corvettecrazy 01-14-2007 01:24 PM

I wish someone informed my dad what those were for when I lived in wisconsin. Our snowblower always sat in the garage while I shoveled.

2000SilverBullet 01-14-2007 01:30 PM

Manual shoveling builts character when you're young.

When you're old.......... ;)

Ryan 01-14-2007 02:27 PM

When you're old.........that's why you have children....

Greyhare 01-14-2007 08:53 PM

Nice, I have an 8.0HP, 24" Craftsman myself.

It's come in handy a few times...

agrazela 01-15-2007 12:06 AM

What is this "snow" you speak of?

And why does that turbocharger in your picture have handles on it?

:D

PontiacDad 01-24-2007 04:44 PM

Its here and in the back of my truck
Looks like more snow on the way too :D Just gotta wait for someone to come by and help me off load it

PontiacDad 01-24-2007 08:45 PM

Just built a path out to my back garden shed (need a gas can).
5' deep for 50', gotta love the hyrdostatic drive, had to chew it like deep grass in the summer :P
I have the rest of the week off so I'm doing the snow dance

edit: Pmom brought home a bottle of capn morgans for me to celebrate :D

Gumball 01-24-2007 09:46 PM

I dont know if you have a dog. if you do you have to do this.

if your back yard is big enough make a maze for him to walk around in.
trust me its funny watching them walk around in it.

2000SilverBullet 01-24-2007 10:04 PM

I grew up in snow country.
Used to love digging snow caves. Andrew & Jessica must be having fun. :D

PontiacMom 01-24-2007 10:24 PM

Um actually we are not really enjoying it all that much right now  At work today I had to rescue 1 boot and 3 children who were stuck in the snow  And I don't just mean that they were just to lazy to wiggle themselves out, oh no, this is the kind of snow that sucks you in, and I actually had to DIG them out. At one point today, the maintence team had to come and help me rescue the boot.........A really long story.

I am really happy that PDad got the snowblower though, and WOW does it ever shoot the snow!

PontiacDad 02-04-2007 09:26 AM
