It is claimed they will not stop their vehicles due to the fact that a stationary object is an easier target to hit with missiles/projectiles. They keep moving so that in case something does happen, they aren't stranded in traffic with no way out. It'* all just a way to try and keep the soldiers in the convoy a little bit safer. Only time will tell when they start doing that crap here.
