Silver 2001 SSEi Ft. Laud. FL

Hello all, My name is Frank. Just purchased my 2001 SSEi on 09/30/05. I always wanted one and finally got it. What a ride. The car was very well maintained by the previous owners. 45K mi. Tinted widows and new Kumho tires. All for 12,500 out the door and a 2 month warr. from the dealer. I already changed the t-stat to 180 and am looking into the thrasher CAI. High flow exhuast will follow. I was thrilled to find this site so I could learn as much about this car to keep it in top condition. I'm looking foward to making the mods. And participating in club activities if possible. I listed my ride in the registry and down loaded a pic for you viewing pleasure # 720.[/list]

Welcome Frank!

I'm new here myself and have just started learning what's doable and what's not. Sounds Like you have a good bit of experience already. So far I've found everyone here to be very helpful and the atmosphere seems pretty good. My guess is that you'll find the same thing. :D

Thanks for the replys. I have already found lots of useful info. in this site. And plan to make many mods including clearing the head lights. That is a must. Unfortunately HURRICANE WILMA has put a damper on my new toy because I had to loan my new ride to my x-wife. Her front window got shashed on her Camaro. Luckily her car will be fixed on Tues. the 8th. Believe me it's killing me to see her in my ride but I had to do it so she could get to work. Fortunately it's close to her house and is kept under cover.

Thanks again,
Frank

Welcome to the family.

there are more cost effective options than the Thrasher intake.

Here's a thread to point ya in the right direction:

Rice Pipe

Some of our members have also gone with the fender well intake. Ask around or search for more info on that one.
