Uh... wow, you reiterated exactly what I said. Yet you chose not to think about what I mentioned in that while the steering motor is the same, there might be other things that are different that cause it to be a TSB instead of a Recall.

Thanks..your responses say enough to me. I'm done trying to help you with reasoning. You don't appear to want anything more than another online place to complain. No need to me to be involved any more.

One last one.

Open you eyes. Stop looking through your anger glasses and try reading the below lines. Actually read it. Your lack of reading has brought me to a potential conclusion about you, I'd enjoy seeing you change that conclusion.

While the part may be the same, the vehicle may be different in a way that a full recall is not needed on the different vehicle. In the example I used for you, the valve cover gasket still leaks over time, the spark plug holder is the same. Yet one different part is the difference between fire and happy owner.

Egad, well then you know absolutely Nothing about me... sorry. I have at least a 93 third gen uninsured/uninsured registered RX7 in my driveway which I use to take my kids and wife to school when my primary car fails..... ?

Uh, well of course the vehicle is different.... DOH.

Different in that one is a crapfest discontinued... and the other is only a move onward to the new GM Cruise and the Volt!!!

Holy crap..... maybe the same electric motor power steering is in the Volt and the Cruise too?????? Certainly wouldn't suprise me.
And, why should it replace it if it might just be a discontinued car right now???

I read every post, and Bill was correct when he said "You don't appear to want anything more than another online place to complain"
Just because a part was recalled in one car, doesn’t mean it must be done on every car. GM sees a reason for a part failing in vehicle; they issue a recall on that particular model.

You the man

This topic is a waste of thread, till the OP opens his eyes and starts reading what everyone got to say, if all you wanna do is bitch about a brand, grab a pen and paper and start writing some letters. Bitching about it on a GM forum its not gonna get you anywhere or change anyone'* mind.

This is a forum for GM Enthusiasts who know enough about the car to offer help ON the actual VEHICLE, we aren't here for you to vent your anger about a situation you have no control of. If you don't want our help and are only going to continue to post outbursts and bash the company then you should either make your own blog about it, or keep it to yourself and those involved.

We offered our opinions and you only insulted our intelligence which was complately uncalled for, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Sometimes I'm really proud of you kids.....Your the greatest.

Some of your comments here WTGMF are uncalled for against people that know a crapload more about more about GM, it'* engines and drivetrains than you do. And help thousands of people with problems, and make this Forum what it is.

As I mentioned in my very first post here, you bought a salvaged vehicle for a greatly reduced price with full knowledge of the liabilities of such. Then come here to vent your "crapped your diaper" and GM won't change it BS. (Which they are well within their rights to do) The Forum and an extension of GM has responded and even tried to help you with this just because we are indeed a collection of pretty nice people.

I rarely do this because I like to see the Forum grow and stay tolerant to other views. But you have run out a rope here and the noose is tight. Welcome to Purgatory, and enjoy the stay. It is permanent.

If I were GM, GM Media, or GMPP, I'd send you to the curb as well with your attitude. Case closed for me.
