Hello all-this is a wonderful forum. I just bought a 92 silver SSEi, 134,000 miles on it. It has a decent body and usual wear on the leather interior. Got it early June 2005 and had a few problems so far. First found out cd player didn't work, no biggie- I think I am going to put in a bigger louder stereo in anyway. Second was a big problem- had it sitting for a couple days and went to start it and nothing happened. Seems to be a problem others have had as wrote about in the forums. The whole VATS system. So far I think it is just a dirty key- time will tell if it messes up again. Third problem was the rear brake line that goes from the drivers side to passenger side at the rear by the gas tank broke where it 90'* at the passenger side--easy fix. Those are the problems(plus the ac doesn't work-but knew that before I bought the car). Now the good stuff. This is the quickest car I've ever owned- nice to be able to hit the gas and not slam it to the floor to actually get going! I think I may have to modify the exhaust-way too tame sounding. Color again is silver.....kinda dark-I may add some graphics to it-flames? racing stripes(someone on here has a red one with blakc racing stripes-can't remeber who-but awesome looking car!)? or maybe just some wild custom crazy what-the-heck-is-that-guy-on paint job. Stereo-even wihtout cd player-this thing bumps! My mother-in-law said I'll either blow the motor or the speakers-she wasn't sure which one first...heh heh. I've rambled on but once again got to say that I enjoy this forum-just joined but I have spent the last couple nights reading post after post and going to cardomain checking out bonneville pics-lovely cars guys!
