Originally wanted a beater...this is what I ended up with...

Well, I recently took a job where I have to drive 40 miles each way, so I wanted to get something that got decent gas mileage and something to keep the miles off my truck. I was lookin at saturns but I couldnt find anything I really liked...or that wasnt a POS. So I went to talk to my neighbor who owns the local Kia dealership to see if they had anything that was traded in. He said most of the cars they take on trade they just send to auction. He told me there were 2 cars he had that were gonna be sent to auction that he would feel comfortable selling to me (afterall, I know where he lives :D ) They were a 2000 Ford Focus and a 98 Pontiac Bonneville SE. I decided to drive the Bonne first. At first I didnt think it would be what I was looking for cause it wouldnt get good gas mileage, but I drove it anyways. I must say I was suprised how nice it was...leather, power everything, cd, steering wheel controls. So I drove it around and really liked it...my neighbor said I could have it for the weekend to check it out and decide :D I didnt even bother with the focus cause they wanted $500 more and the interior and exterior were TRASHED So off with the Bonne I went...I drove it everywhere all weekend. I checked out out pretty damn good and I must say I was more than suprised. It has 133K, but it runs and drives like it has 60K. It has all kinds of maintenance done on it  It even has 2 stickers in the upper corner for maintenance, tire rotation and oil change, and exhaust inspection (prolly from when it was replaced) It also has new upper and lower intake, new plugs and wires, new exhaust, new shocks/struts, new filters, new O2 sensors, even new poly sway bar endlinks. The original owner even got rid of the dex-poo and put in the green stuff :) I told my neighbor I was very interested and wanted to know a price. He said since they just send them to acution they dont even bother to check out the car to see if it has had any maintenance done (awesome for me) I could have it for the wholesale price...KBB says $5500...I got it for $2K.... So far I LOVE this car, sooo comfortable, the 3.8 is really strong, and I got 33.2 mpg on the highway  I need to tint the windows and get a remote start for it...maybe some wheels :D I cant even call it a beater, its too nice :P .Anyways, here are some pics...

I took the engine cover off, cause I think it looks alot nicer :) ...as for the pics, they were taken with my cell phone...that is how the car came off the lot...Im sure when I wax it this weekend, it will shine even more.... :D My friends all call it a grandpa car and im 23, but what do I care...this car is AWESOME
