Long time GM fan with a dark side
I have to admit I found your site while searching for answers to fix the kids car. But after searching around it looks like a friendly spot to sit for awhile.
I`ve had my share of gm`* over the years, a couple I let go and still kick myself for. 72 Monte with a nice sbc, 76 vega with a stout 327 and a 77 Electra 225 limited, man what a cruiser. I currently have 2 gm`*. A 98 venture van, winter beater and pulls my boat. I`ve been waiting for intake to start leaking on that one. Arrg A 93 silverado 2wd pickup that was my Dads baby that I just inherited. 122 k original miles on that one. And for the dark side, 2000 Mustang, my baby tucked away for the winter.
I`ll try to help as needed and stay out of the way as needed. Thanks guys.

Welcome to the site. Does your van have the 4.3L engine.
If you didn't know, on your 93 Silverado there are two companies that laser bend the brake and fuel lines. Makes replacing the lines on our trucks super easy, which is common for our vehicles up north. On my 91 silverado the brake, fuel and transmissions lines all needed replacement from rust. Yet the rest of the body was rust free....
