Default New guy here, 90 Bonneville SSE

Well I searched the web for Bonneville forums, and this seems to be the place to go. Last weekend I picked up a 90 Bonneville SSE, gray with brown interior. Needs a little work... the interior is nasty (both in color and cleanliness). At any rate, my name is Bob, I'm from Merrill Wisconsin and thats about it. Here are some pics.

And a pic of my GTP

I got a good SSE grille on the way, the interior needs a LOT of tlc, but it runs and drives great... which for the miles, is pretty impressive. I also got a refurbed SSE instrument cluster on the way (my compass and DIC are real dim). I THINK the stock rims from my GP will fit the Bonne (polished 5 spoke) and were planning on re-painting the car white or black... though the gray is kind of neat it would probably cost a lot more to do it that way.

Thanks for the compliment
-Bob

Nice SSE. Just need a new grille and all will be good. I am afraid of that garage behind the bonnie.

Welcome Bob.

Is the interior cloth or leather?

The Bonne'* interior is tan cloth... I'd like to find leather for it.

The cirrus is toast... the tranny went out on it in March and the cheapest I can find a tranny is about $300... the car ran like absolute crap also so its not worth my time for how much I paid for it. Unfortunately nothing interchanges with the PT. Anyone here need anything from a Cirrus? lol... its going to the junk yard hopefully by the end of this week so before that time I'm going to pull off any parts I think I can sell.

Welcome to the club, Bob. That GTP looks awesome. Bonnie looks good, too. Just don't park in the garage. lol
