Not my first visit, but my last
Well folks, here'* your last opportunity to pucker up and kiss my big fat butt. I will not return. I hope you are pleased and you probably are. I've found several other sites that actually have folks on staff that can answer questions. I know this is a site that I have paid nothing for, and you don't owe me anything at all. And you have provided me exactly that. Nothing.
I don't leave owing anyone anything. I feel good about that. I know that I have offered much more and better advice than I have received.
I don't know if you've ever done the math, but I've noticed that there are an average or 14 "views" of a post for every response. On the last 4 threads I have posted, I have received a total of 3 responses. One of those was advising me that you had moved my post to the appropriate forum. My post was not addressed, just moved.
Of all of the questions I have asked - and I will admit there have been quite a few, I estimate that 75% of the information was either incomplete or completely inaccurate.
My last post was simply asking about a lower control arm bushing for a 2001 SSEi. Why is it considered "not serviceable"? That was about a week ago. Lots of views - no response. I've found several other sites that answered the question for me. I'll not share it with you guys though, you can figure it out on your own, or just keep your head in the sand.
It'* been interesting. I've enjoyed helping people out. I've bee incredibly frustrated when I've needed help.
Life'* too short to spend it pissed off!

Sorry for whatever agenda your "dealin off the bottom of the deck" towards us. Lets look at your last 4 threads.
1)Your last thread ( https://www.gmforum.com/t281856/ ) asks for a place to buy a $10 bushing? Where have you been in the automotive scheme of pricing to begin with?
GM doesnt sell them because when the bushing goes, the control arm bushing hole is frequently wasted. I guess nobody answered because nobody knew of a place.
2) You asked if anyone had a 2001 model stereo for sale. ( https://www.gmforum.com/t281836/ ) The Moderator moved it to the proper section, thats his job. He replied he did so nicely. He did it so (like the other move problems you constantly gave us to do), more people would see it where it belonged. You didnt get an answer because I assume no one here had one for sale. Sorry we dont run a clearing house or manufacture them.
3) You asked how to change out a stereo and how to deal with the coding. ( https://www.gmforum.com/t281002/ ) You only received 1 reply because it was the right reply and the information in it clear and easy to follow, given to you by a gearhead. We make it a policy here not to walk over other gearheads replies, especially when the reply is correct.
4) So to the last one, or first I should say. You left the window open in the rain, GM told you a price you couldnt stomach for tracing the short, and come back here wanting us to be clairvoyant. Well sorry, but our magic crystal ball thats tells us the exact location of a short for something your dumb *** did, broke 3 days prior to your thread. You cant follow directions, you are short with staff who are just trying to direct you towards posting problems where people who are familiar with it might see it better. You wont accept GM'* pricing, policies, or advice and expect us to clean your "I cant get my way mess in your crappy diaper." You are right about only one thing here that I can see, is that you will not return. As per your desires, I gave you the courtesy of reading the forum, but locked your ability to reply since thats what you stated.

Staff, as well as forum members, have tried diligently to help one another on this forum. Many of us have faced similiar problems and issues and try to provide details on what solutions to try or when further investigation is warranted. In some cases we are successful and in other cases we are not. Mostly in the cases where a problem is not easily solved, it'* due to too many like or similiar symptoms, failure to adequately identify the symptom and conditions present, and in this disgruntled diatribe above, failure to accept and follow through with the advice and to pose a plethora of "are you sure" questions that really don't warrant an answer.
So..if you don't like the answer you receive, you are free to not use or take it. If you have more info and would like to take a second run at a solution, please do so - but don't blame staff or others because you don't get it, believe it or like the answer!
We are a group of car enthusiasts that genuinely want to help each other get the most out of their Pontiac'*. Sometimes this comes at a hefty financial price and the investment of your personal time and desire to put sweat and thought equity into it.
Sometimes it can be very frustrating, and we get that. Just don't take it out on 'us' (staff and forum members) cause we will just decide we don't care about you or your car and elect to not help you anymore or even respond to your posts. Understood?

I find myself spending hours upon hours pouring through FSM'* and searching the internet etc for answers to questions like yours. The only return we see is the occasional new friend, a feeling of contributing and helping someone we don't know.
Sorry to see you didn't get what you were looking for from this forum, it sounds like you have a few issues to work through.

I've spent hundreds of hours making write ups that are easy to follow. I have manuals sitting next to my computer and try to find information when needed. Sorry you didn't like the answers, but they were the correct ones, not just what you wanted to hear.
